Pyjamarama is supporting the Book Trust's charitable initiative of supporting families in need to access stories and with reengaging teenagers with the joy of reading.
We have raised a whopping £150 alone just from the children coming into school in their pyjamas, raising the profile of having a bedtime story with their families.
Parents joined Mrs Archer at a parents' workshop learning about the importance of bedtime stories. Remi-Rose’s Mum found the session invaluable and hopes to enjoy more quality time using bedtime  stories with each of her children.
The after school penny book sale was a huge success adding to our total contribution for the Book Trust. This ensured that many children took home new literature to enjoy with their families for their bedtime story. Look out for another book sale, in association with our APA, before the summer holidays.
Thank you to all our children, parents and even staff who wore their pyjamas and celebrated their love of reading and bedtime stories with us.
