Remembrance Day

As always, the whole school community came together at 11am to observe the two minute silence which took place across the country to remember those who lost their lives in the two world wars and more recent conflicts.

Our pupils were respectful as they entered and exited the hall and stood calmly to mark this sombre occasion.  We watched the live feed from BBC News, which showed us images of what other people, including children, were doing at exatly the same time as us.  We then closed our assembly with two poems read by Paccia and Crystabelle.

We have also been selling poppies and other merchandise and will let you know in due course how much we have raised.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

We raised a whopping £306 for this very worthwhile charity.  Thank you to you all.
